Casey Printers

NOTE TO THE PINHEADS…
CASEY PRINTERS IS NOT GOING TO SIGN WITH THE B.C. LIONS…
TO START WITH THE LIONS DO NOT HAVE THE CAP ROOM AND SECONDLY THEY ALREADY HAVE 5…COUNT ‘EM…5 QUARTERBACKS UNDER CONTRACT…
GENERAL MANAGER WALLY BUONO IS CURRENTLY PAYING THAT GROUP $750 THOUSAND DOLLARS…
THERE IS ALSO ANOTHER ISSUE…
PRINTERS WOULD NOT BE WELCOMED IN THE LIONS DRESSING ROOM…
IN THE WORDS OF ROB MURPHY…“THE CONSENSUS ON THE TEAM IS IT WOULD NOT BE GOOD IF HE CAME BACK”…
MURPHY WAS ONE OF MANY LIONS WHO WERE VERY UPSET WHEN PRINTERS SHOWED UP IN VANCOUVER BEFORE LAST YEARS WESTERN FINAL…
THOSE PLAYERS THREATENED TO THROW PRINTERS OUT ON HIS ASS IF HE ATTEMPTED TO COME INTO THE LOCKER ROOM…
NOBODY QUESTIONS PRINTERS ATHLETIC TALENT…BUT HIS MATURITY IS ANOTHER MATTER…
IN 2004 HE WAS NAMED THE MOST OUTSTANDING PLAYER IN THE CFL BUT DID NOT PLAY IN THE GREY CUP…
PRINTERS NEVER GOT OVER THAT…
HE PUBLICLY CRITIZED BUONO…
“I WILL NOT FORGET HOW I WAS TREATED….I WON’T FORGET HOW I WAS TOYED WITH…THAT WILL ALWAYS STICK WITH ME”…
LET’S SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT…
CASEY PRINTERS HAS NEVER GIVEN A DAMN ABOUT ANYTHING OTHER THAN CASEY PRINTERS…
IN HIS SENIOR YEAR OF COLLEGE HE TURNED HIS BACK ON T.C.U. TO GET A BETTER DEAL WITH FLORIDA A AND M…
IT WAS A HUGE MISTAKE AND PRINTERS WAS NOT EVEN DRAFTED BY THE NFL…
HIS FOOTBALL CAREER APPEARED TO BE OVER WHEN THE LIONS GAVE HIM THE BIGGEST BREAK OF HIS LIFE…
IN 2003 THE LIONS NOT ONLY INVESTED THE TIME AND THE MONEY TO DEVELOP HIM BUT THE FOLLOWING YEAR GAVE HIM THE OPPORTUNITY TO START WHEN DAVE DICKENSON WAS INJURED…
HOW DID HE REWARD THIS TEAM???
HE TURNED DOWN A 3 YEAR DEAL WORTH 1.2 MILLION DOLLARS AND THEN RIPPED THE ORGANIZATION ON HIS WAY OUT OF TOWN…
WHY SOME FOOTBALL FANS IN THIS CITY STILL WANT HIM BACK…REMAINS ONE OF THE TRUE MYSTERIES IN ALL OF SPORTS…

Maybe the reason some fans want him back is that the kid has talent(?????).I don't know much about Casey but you make it sound as if everyone has GIVEN him everything and he hasn't earned anything on his own.Seems as if you've got a personal ax to grind.

Reading your Rant is interesting it isn’t cool on how he is self centered but then again so is a lot of Stars. In that 2004 run he was given his shot and shinned when we went to the grey cup with printers he should have had his start he saved the team coming in as a nobody when our big number one Quarter Back was down he picked up the pieces of the lions and made it work. In saying that when he was switched for Dickenson in 2004 in the grey cup I think it sort of ruined the momentum that BC had with printers, and I personally believe that is why we lost that game when we should have won. Hard feelings would be expected when you come in and lead the team into the playoffs I've been sidelined in games where I was a star player in my position and felt bitter at the coach for it. The public criticism of your coach and general manager would never set a good mood for the next year, the switching to NFL was a gamble but he was trying to play in a stronger league with more fans (more fame). Can printers work the Hamilton Team? Maybe but not likely considering he has never played a second season as #1.

The first and only time I've seen Printers in action was this year in the pre-season. Personally, I thought he was the no-brainer choice to be our (Kansas City Chiefs) starting quarterback.

This kid is something special!

Attitude? Well, based on what I'm reading, yeah, perhaps he could've handled himself with a bit more composure at being treated what anyone would characterize as "shoddily", but c'mon. He's a kid! It's hard to suck it up when you get that kind of slap in the face.

I really think if he'd been our starting quarterback this year, our record would be far better than the current 4/11. With him and a healthy Larry Johnson, the 07 Chiefs might've actually been contenders.

THis kid is special. I agree with poster Bob ZunBrennan regarding Printers. He is a special talent. This young man gives 100% on every team he's been on including TCU. KC chiefs lost a good QB, that I believe would have turned out to be a great QB had they gave him the same support as they gave Brodie Croyle. This kid is mobile, versatile and a winner. With a supporting cast, he would be amazing. Every team he's been own has said nothing but good things, with the exception of some of the folks at TCU. Damn the fact that COACHES lie and spread vicious rumors when they are trying to hurt a player. TCU hands are not clean where Printers is concerned. Printers is nothing like with TCU wants to paint him as....Why is it that no other team he's ever been on feel this way!!!! Printers keep your head up and keep working young man, soon your opportunity to play in the NFL is coming.
